Default Which Sci-Fi Game(s) are you looking forward to most?

Seeing the line-up of in-beta, in-production or even just in-concept Sci-Fi MMOs and how extensive some of them are, which one(s) are you looking forward to the most and why?

BOOM. I'll take one for the team and go first. SW:TOR is my pick, simply because I'm more familiar with the company and they have a pretty good track history. Not necessarily in MMO's, but they do take step with extra special care. And they're working with a franchise that they have received many awards from, so I think it's safe to say the property is in good hands, and chances are good that they won't disappoint.

I almost said Star Trek Online, but..... I'm not much of a trekkie. Not that it's bad, don't get me wrong, I love me some TNG. Just overall, if given the choice, I'd pick Star Wars over Star Trek. Cryptic stands a good chance of being good with their attempt, since no one has done it before, it could go any either direction wildly.

Personally, I'm looking forward to JGE, Star Trek Online and the Star Wars game. And strangely enough there are different reasons for each one.

JGE just looks cool. Even tho it has some strange similarities to EVE, it has potential.

Star Trek Online I look forward to because I do enjoy the Trek world. I am interested in seeing how the game pans out. While it was first being produced by Perpetual Entertainment, which folded, it's new publisher, Cryptic Studios, has one game under its belt that was madly successful and is now creating a similar game and STO. They are very community interactive and seem to enjoy working with the community.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic just feels right. YOu can play sith or jedi and not be conflicting with the storyline. That was one of the biggest problems with SWG. You had a bunch of Jedi and NPC storm troopers would see them dueling and just do nothing. Hi. Order 66? Or whatever Order # it was....Storm Troopers shoulda been pwning em all the minute they drew the weapons. Also, SWG is set in the timeline where there is "only one master, one apprentice" yet there were a ton of Sith. It didn't make sense. I like the time period it is set in and it opens a whole new wave of potential, especially for those that enjoy roleplaying.

Definately Star Trek Online. I've been a long time fan and I'm satisfyed with what Cryptic is bringing.
